Frumos, nu-i asa? Hai sa ii compatimim in continuare…
For the English language readers: Google translation is not legible, so here’s my translation.
“Criminal Minds” is a TV show which has as main character a team of FBI profilers.; in every episode they recover a missing or kidnapped person or they catch a serial killer. And why am I writing about TV shows?
Because of the surprise I had when I’ve heard “I love you, puyule”. Tonight’s new episode was about a gypsy family that was kidnapping little girls and killing their parents. Now, as you may have realized, the family was from Romania. But the screenplay author went further on and said “they are rromani, gypsies” and continued by telling about their lack of respect for the law, about their own traditions and nomadic way of life.
So, once again, Romanians are (still) associated with the gypsies and their crimes. Beautiful, isn’t it? Let’s pity them some more…
